about

This release has come out of the collaboration between Heed the Thunder and the amazing legend that is Mark Stevenson - folk singer, poet, bodhran and whistle player, unblocker of drains...

Of the six songs, five of them are Mark's compositions and the other one is Easter Tree by Dave Goulder, which appears on All Those Black Years as well. It was Mark's unaccompanied singing of this song which Alex heard, and led to Heed the Thunder doing it.

We ran out of money, and couldn't afford mastering - and perhaps as a consequence, the volume on the CD is quite low, Turn it up for proper enjoyment - it's all there.
